Pine Cone 1533
At the edge of the field there is a very large tree next to a small pond. My memory of tree identification tells me its a Norway Spruce, with its limbs ever reaching upward but its branches hanging down. As I walked around it last week I noticed the sap was flowing, almost excessively. I saw it coming right from the connection of the branch and the pine cone. Looking deep into the branches to the trunk I saw that it was striped with sap.
The sap carries nutrients throughout the tree to the areas where they are most needed. I can't help but feel it is a sign of the positive, loving energies that are flowing continuously ready for us to accept into our lives and act on its behalf.
I realize sometimes, excessive sap can also result from cankers or dead spots sometimes caused by fungi growing under the bark. Cankers can be sunken areas or cracks. With a tree you can help by pruning out affected branches, if you catch it early. This analogy is my hope to motivate everyone to to start each day with an open heart to love, communication and helping others, because we are not trees to be pruned.
Sap is mostly made up of water, but the sugar compounds it carries makes it rich and thick. Envision the ever present positive loving energies flowing like sap, being full of sweetness, thick with the stuff that keeps us loving each other. May it stick to all of us but more so to those who need the most healing. I ask Spirit to guide the healing, leaving all opinionated earthly egos out, asking for our greatest and highest good in all ways, always.
