What Grief Looks Like - 0544
The day before I took this photo, I did Readings at a local establishment. My connection to Spirit is unique and is most often empowering to those who sit with me. However, the most beautiful family came to sit. Their grief was palpable. I connected as I usually do and offered the messages Spirit was offering. My connection wasn’t enough to help, but before they left my table I had them each flip over one heart that I created as part of my messages. These hearts have a word on the back of each one. As each family member flipped a heart, I knew Spirit was giving them a very strong message to the level of their grief, their hearts/energy so heavy. It is unusual for me to retain information after a Reading, I am usually able to release it with love to Spirit for healing. But I was carrying them with me over night and into the next day. I was moved to go out with my camera and as I walked I asked to release what I was holding and to continue to ask Spirit to help them heal. After a few hours I headed home and I spotted this message. This uprooted tree, beaten, cracked and weathered. The heart formation so very obvious to me.
This is what grief looks like. The love is still there, trying to show normalcy to those looking at you, but on the inside this. One feels uprooted from everyone and everything around you, there are aches that twist and stab, leaving an emptiness that is unimaginable. I will always hold this family close to my heart, for many reasons. Their grief, the depth of their love. Spirit sends comfort signs all the time, this one a reminder that “Love Is”. No matter how it is shown, whether on this plane or another, whether it seems to be taken or lessened or whatever it may look like...
