This triple Thistle is hand painted in purple, greens and white then my usual highlighting details with a wash of black. Each one comes out a bit different.

The metal will slowly tarnish as time goes by giving it an incredible patina. If you don't want the metal to tarnish, you can spray it with a clear coating of polyurethane.
